As we begin to near the close of the Year 2019, let's to reflect on the past year and how far we have come to progress or regress. Did you become more self-actualized and productive this year? Are your relationships stronger and more improved? How are you feeling about yourself physically and mentally? These are always good questions to ask yourself.

Many times people will find themselves in a little state of depression at the end of the year. Maybe they have broken up or experienced divorce with their significant other, or loss of a job. So what are good ways to combat this depression and to improve one's outlook for the future?

Exercise is a very valuable tool and it not only helps improve one's health but also improve one's self-esteem. By engaging in resistance training or aerobic training you can release positive chemicals called endorphins which help to elevate mood.

Benefits of Exercise

According to Every Body's Personal Trainer, the results achieved through exercise can really help to develop one's mind and body. Losing weight and gaining strength can give you more energy and make you feel more vibrant and virile. The benefits of exercise on us physically have been well-documented, but mood elevation is another great benefit.

Social Groups Can Help!

Social media groups such as Facebook and Instagram can be a great way of establishing a support system. Groups on these platforms that are like-minded help in enhancing personal development and self-improvement.

Putting It Together

The end of each year gives us a great time to reflect back on the past year's progression and regression. However, the end of the year can cause significant depression. Coping up by including exercise and social media groups can be a great way to battle such depression and enhance ones life!
