Is What you have to learn to Say...
I was exposed to the term EVERYDAY GRATITUDE in my childhood, but did not consider it a practice until one of my acquaintances started her research paper on mental health.
Though I was not new to the word THANK YOU, saying THANK YOU TO MYSELF was an altogether new experience.
Science has given a lot of proofs how being grateful has helped improve outlook of life, and relieve stress & anxiety. And now I BELIEVE this too!
Here, I share how I started with grateful living:
PEN DOWN
Writing it down, saying it loud makes our conscious aware of the actions. So express your gratitude with adding it to a journal.
Everyday, write about the things that were good in your day. I maintain a digital journal you see!
COUNT YOUR BLESSINGS
Remembering what my Alma Mater taught us with the hymn,

...this is what I do!
Count the good things in my life, and everyday remind myself of these things.
GIVE IT BACK
Say "THANK YOU" to people who made your day. Return a favor with your words or actions.
MIND YOUR WORDS
Reframing the sentences and feeding these with positive words have helped me bring positivity. Instead of saying "I hate you", say " We differ in opinions".
AFFIRM IT RIGHT
Practice gratitude affirmations! I do it to make gratitude a habit.
NOW IT'S TIME TO MULTIPLY
Create an environment of gratitude! Seek for people who are grateful in life, or become one.
Evidence based practice is what we all believe in! So why wait? Walk towards grateful living right away to reap its ultimate benefits.
I THANK YOU for reading this web story! You can make one for expressing your gratitude to someone else or to yourself.
